Technical Assistance:
Discussed with center about cleanliness of the bathroom, locking staff area, and the policy for prevention of shaken baby syndrome or abusive head trauma, including coping with crying babies, safe sleeping practices, and sudden infant death syndrome awareness.
Comments:
A renewal inspection was initiated on 02/01/2023 . There were 16 children present with 6 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition.Records were reviewed remotely. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice .
Based on observation and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure areas and equipment of the center inside maintained in a clean , safe and operable.
Evidence: There was rust on the door in the pink batroom. Staff confirmed there was rust .
