Technical Assistance:
Discussed the following with the Provider: - development of a seizure medication plan - documentation for CPR and First Aid certification
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today. The physical plant, 3 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 1:50-3:00pm. There were 12 children, totaling 38 points, under the supervision of 3 caregivers. Today the children colored pictures, learned about letter, listened to the Provider read a book, rested during naptime and listened to music. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served chicken nuggets, tator tots, mixed vegetables and milk for lunch. The Provider is certified in MAT (medication administration training). Based on file review, 1 out of 5 children's records has not been updated annually. Evidence 1. Child #1's record was last updated on 7/23/18.

Description:
Based on file review, 2 out of 3 caregiver/household members do not have repeat searches of the central registry (SCR) completed within 5 years since the last search was completed. Evidence 1. Caregiver/household members #1 and #3 have SCR which were last completed on 10/6/14.
