Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted February 5 2024 between 9:45am and 11:30am. There were 10 children(25 points) in the care of the provider and an assistant. Children were observed being diapered, washing hands, eating breakfast, having play time, and being redirected to various activities. Staff records, child records, emergency drills, the emergency plan, and the home was reviewed and inspected. Citations are listed on the violation notice. Based on record review, the provider did not ensure that the shelter in place procedures included all of the requirements.
Evidence: On the emergency plan that is posted in the home, the shelter in place procedures were blank. Upon asking the provider about where they shelter- in-place the provider was able to articulate the procedure.

Evidence: An evacuation drill was no documented as having been conducted in April 2023, June 2023, and January 2024. In April 2023 and June 2023, a shelter-in-place drill was conducted instead.
