380.A.2.a - Centers shall have a designated rest period for at least one hour but no more than two hours. After the first 30 minutes, children not sleeping may engage in quiet activities.

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with center staff on July 26, 2019 to determine compliance with the licensing standards. There were six infants with two staff, seven toddlers with two staff, 17 preschool with two staff, and 20 school age children with two staff. The younger children were on their cots for rest and the school age children were returning from a field trip to have lunch. Lunch served today: meatball subs, apples, and milk. There are no medications on site - one staff is current in Medication Administration Training. Five children's files and four staff files were reviewed and are in compliance. Evacuation drills have been practiced monthly; the last shelter in place drill was conducted 6/17/2019. The last fire inspection was conducted 7/26/2018; an inspection is scheduled for Monday, July 29, 2019. The last health inspection was conducted 3/5/2019.
