The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced inspection in response to a complaint received on 04/13/2023 regarding allegations concerning supervision of children and behavioral guidance. The inspection was completed on 04/25/2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 12:20 p.m. to 1:25 pm. Observations and interviews with staff were completed. The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation. The complaint is determined to be not valid; however, a violation of standards was determined. See the violation notice for details. Please complete the plan of correction and the date to be corrected for each violation listed on the violation notice and return it to the department within 5 business days from receipt. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s); 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures.
Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that tables used for feeding were sanitized after each use.
Evidence: Licensing inspector observed staff in the two-year-old classroom and pre-school 1-A classroom cleaning the tables after the children?s lunch; however, not sanitizing the tables afterwards.
