A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on January 13,2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There are 5 children present (12 points) with one caregiver at LI arrival. A second caregiver arrived within 5 minutes.3 adult and 5 children's records were reviewed. See violation notice for further information. Children were observed playing quietly during today's inspection. Emergency escape drills, first aid supplies, fridge/freezer temperature are all in compliance. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at 703-479-4678. LI was present today from 10:30 AM -12:00 PM. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
