Comments:
An unannounced, mandated renewal inspection was conducted today. The inspector arrived at 10:30 AM and departed at 11:45 AM. Eleven children were in care with three staff and the family services worker. Activities, participation in interest centers and outdoor play were observed. A sample size of five children's records were reviewed. Currently there is no medication stored for administration to children in care.
Four staff records and six administrator/board member records were reviewed at the central office.
An exit interview was conducted with the program director and administrator prior to closure of the inspections.
Based upon review of four staff records, the facility has not ensured that results of a tuberculosis screening are obtained for all staff at least every two years from the first initial screening.
