Technical Assistance:
Training Calendar will be scheduled for August, 2022- end of July 2023 and requires 16 hours in annual training.
Comments:
An unannounced inspection was conducted from 10:25- 11:15 on August 4, 2022. There were 5 children ( one is the Provider's own child) with the Provider for a total of 7 points. The children and the Provider were singing and dancing to music and then story time. The area for the children offers various age appropriate materials and the space was free of hazards. The Provider has over 16 hours in annual training and has current certification in First Aid and CPR. The Inspector also reviewed 2 children's files and they were complete. Please call with questions 703 479-4679.
Based on record review and interview, it was determined the provider did not obtain for an adult household member a current report of TB Screening within two years from the date of the first screening. Evidence: 1. A household member's screening expired in 2021. The Provider stated the household member was trying to schedule a test but thought it needed to be an Xray since it was required first time and the Provider did not realize it could be an actual screening report.
Plan of Correction:
We will schedule the Doctor appointment so that a screening can be completed.
