Comments:
An unannounced RECDC subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 3/4/2024 from 9:50-10:50. The children were observed in 2 groupings, 12 children in total with three classroom staff and an administrator. The center opened back up in December 2023 and will be having a summer camp this summer. A violation notice was given to the center along with this inspection summary. Based on the review of the centers emergency escape records, the center failed to have a monthly drill for each month. Evidence: the emergency drills for January and February 2024 could not be reviewed.
Plan of Correction:
I know we have the emergency drill record, I just can not locate the form at this time. If I can not locate it I will make sure I use a new form.
