Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 10:50am through 12:40pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 13 children in care with four staff. Children present ranged in age from 16 months to four years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on observation, record review and interview the vendor failed to maintain a current written list of all children's allergies. Evidence: 1 - During record review three children have documentation of know allergies. However, there is not a list available for staff in the classroom. 2 - Staff 1 stated that there was not a list available in the classrooms.
Plan of Correction:
Center management will create and make available to staff, a list of all students and their allergies.
