Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on August 18, 2022 from approximately 9:30 am to 10:05 am. There were 2 children in attendance and a total of 1 staff present. 2 staff records, 2 household records, and 2 children?s records were reviewed. All areas of the home were observed and areas where the children are cared for were inspected.
Interviews were held with the provider throughout the inspection. The inspector interacted with children in care when appropriate. The designated areas for childcare were deemed appropriate and are equipped with age appropriate toys to meet the needs of the children. Children were observed playing with toys in the playroom.
The license and current inspection were posted as well as the drill log. Evacuation drills were conducted monthly. The most recent was on 07/26/22. Shelter in place drill conducted two times with the most recent on 03/15/22.
The menu was posted.
Per the provider, medication is not administered, and transportation is not provided.
The center?s first aid kit was inspected and found complete. The home had a working flashlight and battery operated radio.
There were violations cited as a result of this inspection.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that hot water at taps available to children was maintained within a range of 105 degrees F to 120 degrees F. Evidence: The hot water in the bathroom that the children use measured 128.8 degrees F.
Plan of Correction:
Per the provider "although the water takes forever to get to that point and kids are well supervised I turned the water down."
