Today we discussed further detailing the procedures for Lockdown in your Emergency Preparedness Plan - possibly using the template that is available on the DOE website.
We discussed one area of the outdoor play space that is currently not in use by the children while play equipment is being removed and new equipment installed. Discussed fall zones and resilient surfacing needs for equipment intended for climbing or that has moving parts.
Reviewed class schedules and discussed adding additional information to reflect the actual times that children engage in activities throughout the day with the understanding that schedules are flexible based on the needs of the children.

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 6/23/2022. At the time of the inspector's arrival, there were 33 children present, ranging in ages from 2 1/2 years old to 7 years old, with 4 staff supervising during rest period. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
