Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 25 children in care, with a total of 7 staff members assigned to their direct supervision.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on a review of staff health records, it was determined that two new staff have not obtained a TB screening as required.
Evidence:
Staff B began employment on 7/29/19. Staff C began employment on 7/15/19. Neither of these individuals has obtained a TB health screening.
Plan of Correction:
Immediately during the inspection both employees were instructed to get their TB test done this week.

Description:
Based on a review of new staff training records, it was determined that one staff person did not complete Preservice training within 90 days of hire.
Evidence:
Staff person A began employment on 3/29/19. This person has not completed Preservice training.
Plan of Correction:
I will make sure she completes the training.
