Comments:
An unannounced code compliance inspection was initiated on 7/26/2022 and concluded on 7/27/2022. The physical plant inspection was from 10:09 AM to 11:00 AM. There were 44 children present, ranging in ages from three to __, with six staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision. A total of three children?s records and three staff?s records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Based on observation and interview, the center failed to post the fact that the center is exempt from licensure in a visible location on the premises.
Evidence:
1. An inspection was completed of the physical plant on 7/26/22. A posting stating the center is exempt from licensure was not seen. 2. The director was unable to find the posting.
Plan of Correction:
Documentation will be posted showing the center is exempt from licensure.
