Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:55am-11:30am. At the time of entrance, 19 children were in care with 3 staff members present. Children were observed during story time, handwashing, snack time, playing in centers and lining up to go on a walk outside. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. A selection of staff and children records, the physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, injury reports and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. Based on review of three staff records, the center did not obtain updated tuberculosis tests or screenings for each staff member every two years. Evidence: 1. Staff #1 had a tuberculosis test dated 7/31/2017 and was more than 2 years.
Plan of Correction:
An appointment is scheduled on 1/29/2020 to have this completed.
