Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on 2/15/24 at approximately 9:24am and concluded at approximately 11:00am. There were a total of 7 children with 2 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in group and independent activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children?s records and 2 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation and interview, the center did not maintain, in a way that is accessible to all staff who work with children, a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions documented in the allergy plan. Evidence: 1. Record review documented a child with food allergy 2. Staff stated a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions does not exist.
