A Subsidy Health and safety inspection was conducted to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspection began at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 12:15. There were 68 children in care with staff supervising at all times. The children were observed playing inside and outside, during lunch, washing hands, at circle time, being read to, and coloring. Six staff records and six children?s records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
