Technical Assistance:
The center must post the fact that it is exempt from licensure in a visible location on the premises that all parents of children that use the services will see. The center may post the ?Public Disclosure Statement? model form or a copy of the letter issued by the DOE, Child Care Health and Safety after exemption documentation is complete and processed.
Comments:
An unannounced code compliance inspection was conducted on 05/15/2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. There were no children present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and procedures. A total of five children?s records and five staff?s records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Based on a review of the parent handbook and interview, the center failed to provide a written disclosure to parents and guardians of the children in the center and the general public that includes information regarding the centers enrollment capacity and food services.
Evidence:
The parent handbook was reviewed. There was no information regarding enrollment capacity and food service.

The parent handbook will be updated before the next school year begins.

Description:
Based on record review and interview, the center failed to implement a procedure in which a daily health screening and exclusion of sick children by a person trained to perform such a screening is conducted daily.
Evidence:
There is no staff present from 7:30 AM, when the center opens, to 8:00 AM trained in daily simple health screening.
Plan of Correction:
Additional staff will be required to obtain training in daily simple health screening before the next school year begins.
