Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was completed on 5/3/2023 and 5/12/2023. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or law. Violations are identified on the violation notice.
Based on a review of records, the licensee did not ensure that staff who work directly with children annually complete the health and safety update course.
Evidence: Four staff records were reviewed. The records for three of the four staff contained documentation of t.he most recent health and safety update course that was dated more than one year ago (Staff #1 11/24/2021; Staff #2 3/23/2019; Staff #4 6/6/2019)
