A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on June 8, 2023 from approximately 11:00 am to 12:55 pm. There were four children in care, ranging in age from 2 to 9 years and six resident children present with one caregiver supervising for a value of 13 points.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, care of children, physical plant, physical equipment and environment, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition.
A total of two child records, the provider's record and two household member records were reviewed. The children were observed having lunch, playing on the computer, and napping. The provider home is equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children. The provider's interactions with the children were positive.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations resulting from this inspection.
