Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today at 6:50am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 10 children under the supervision of 2 staff. Children were observed socializing, playing Uno, getting ready for breakfast, eating breakfast. There were 2 children's medications on site today. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials that were developmentally appropriate for the children in care. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Based on review, the facility did not have documentation of a written allergy care plan for a child in care diagnosed with a food allergy. Evidence: Reviewed Child 6's record and found that they did not have documentation of an allergy care plan.
Plan of Correction:
Emailed parent of Child 6 and will return medication at pickup if paperwork is not brought in.
