An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 7:45 AM and ending at 9:00 AM, in conjunction with a licensing monitoring inspection. There were twenty-one children in the care of two staff members. The children's ages ranged between five and twelve years old. The children were observed playing games, reading, and drawing. Hand washing procedures were observed. Children were also observed eating breakfast which consisted of blueberry pancakes or cereal, dried cranberries, milk or juice. Ten children's records were reviewed. Two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no allergy care plans or medications on site to be reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 1/04/19. The most recent fire inspection was dated 12/18/17. The most recent health inspection was dated 3/7/19.
