A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 4:25pm to 5:20pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the beginning of the inspection there were 36 children were present with 3 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: playing a group game and eating snack which consisted of sub sandwiches and juice. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, 3 medications, allergy care plans, and 6 children?s records and 4 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
