Technical assistance was provided regarding behavioral guidance. Behavioral guidance shall be constructive in nature, age and stage appropriate, and shall be intended to redirect children to appropriate behavior and resolve conflicts.

An unannounced complaint investigation was conducted on 2/25/2020 and 3/5/2020. The Northern Licensing Office received the complaint on 2/20/2020 regarding behavioral guidance. Interviews were conducted, records were reviewed, and observations were made in the SACC program. The preponderance of evidence does not support the allegation and the complaint has been deemed not valid. Please email me at morgan.bryson1@dss.virginia.gov with any questions.
