Licensing Inspector and director discussed standard 22VAC40-185-(4)-260-A regarding fire inspections.

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 11:10 AM and ending at 12:20 PM. During the inspection there were 26 school age children in the care of three staff members. The children were observed watching a Dr. Seuss movie. Children were also observed preparing for lunch. Ten children's records and four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Nine medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency evacuation drill was documented as 2/18/20. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 11/6/19. The most recent fire inspection was dated 11/28/17. The most recent health inspection 11/26/19.
