Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 4:45pm and ending at 5:47pm. There 38 school aged children in the care of 6 staff members. The children were observed playing table top games and doing activities. Five children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed and in compliance. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The menu, daily attendance, and emergency drill log were reviewed. The most recent evacuation drill was documented as 6/2/2023. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 4/17/2023. The most recent health inspection was dated 2/10/2023. The most recent fire inspection was dated 3/28/2022.

Based on a review of documentation, facility staff did not obtain an updated tuberculos (tb)is screening every two years from the date of the first initial screening/testing. Evidence: Staff A's most recent tb screening was dated 8/5/2021.
Plan of Correction:
The staff was informed that a new tuberculosis screening would need to be conducted. The results will be placed in their staff record upon receipt.
