Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with a monitoring inspection from 7:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. There were 28 children being supervised by 3 staff members. Staff records were reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training. Ten children's records were reviewed. A list of children with diagnosed food allergies was reviewed. Based on review of the list of diagnosed food allergies and children's record review it was determined that not all children with diagnosed food allergies had documentation of an allergy care plan. Evidence: Child A and Child B were both listed as having diagnosed food allergies however, there was no allergy care plan on file for these children.
Plan of Correction:
Administration will request an allergy care plan from the parents of Child A and Child B.
