A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 04/03/2024 from 6:25am to 7:00am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 10 children ages 7 years to age 11 years old supervised by 2 staff. The physical plant, programming, attendance, menus, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, 2 medications with corresponding authorization records, 1 allergy care plan, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Children were observed participating in snack, games and quiet time. There was an adequate number of staff present with current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT), CPR and First Aid, and Daily Health Observation (DHO) training.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
