Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on March 18, 2024, from 8:27 a.m. to 9:37 a.m. with the provider and one assistant. There were ten children, ages 16 months, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, and 5 years old, were in the care of two caregivers for a total of 21 points. The children were observed playing finishing breakfast which consisted of blueberries, waffles, and milk. The children were observed doing circle time. Handwashing procedures were also observed. Four children?s records were reviewed. The provider and assistant's records were reviewed. There were no medications on site to be reviewed. The provider has a current Medication Administration Training certification. The provider and assistant has current certification in CPR and First Aid. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed.

Based on a review of documentation, the provider failed to ensure that all caregivers completed a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually. Evidence: Caregiver #1 did not have documentation of completing 16 hours of training in their record.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will ensure that all caregivers complete 16 hours of annual training moving forward.
