Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on October 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. through 12:20 p.m. Sixteen children were in the care of five staff. No medication is being administered at this time. Three children and four staff records were reviewed and update.
Areas observed were hand washing/diapering procedures, free choice activities, transition and outside play. The children appeared to be aware of the daily routine and schedule.
Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice. Please complete the plan of correction and return to the licensing inspection within five business days.

Based on record review, the center failed to obtain fingerprints for three staff members prior to date of hire.
Evidence:
1. Four staff records were reviewed. 2. Staff #1 did not have documentation of obtaining fingerprints prior to the first date of hire. Date of hire was documented as 8/15/2022. 3. Staff #2's fingerprint determination letter was dated 10/25/2022. Date of hire was documented 9/20/2022. 4. Staff #4's fingerprint determination letter was dated 10/14/2022. Date of hire was documented 08/11/2022.
