Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. T\his on-site visit was conducted on November 2, 2022, from 10:40 a.m. through 11:20 a.m. Upon arrival, there were 13 children, ages 3-4, in the care of 5 staff. Three children and four staff records were reviewed and update. Areas observed were: hand washing/bathroom procedures, transition, educational activities and free choice.

Based on record review, the facility did not obtain repeat Virginia Central Registry Checks within five years of the prior check.
Evidence:
1. Four staff records were review. 2.Staff #2, #3, and #4 did not have documentation of obtaining an updated Virginia Central Registry check with five years of the prior date. 3. Staff #2, #3 and #4 Virginia Central Registry check was dated 4/15/2016.
Plan of Correction:
Updated Virginia Central Registry checks will be completed for Staff #2, #3, and #4 as soon as possible. Documentation will be sent to the licensing inspector.
