The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced inspection on 10/03/2019, in response to self-reported incident. The self report was received by the Piedmont Regional Office on 10/01/2019. The details of the self-report indicated that a child was injured on 09/30/2019 and afterwards received outside medical care. On 10/03/2019, the LI interviewed three staff members, inspected the room where the injury occurred, and reviewed video footage of the incident. Based on evidence gathered by the LI, there was sufficient data to conclude that no violations of the standards surrounding the child's injury took place on 09/30/2019.
