Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 5/5/2020 and concluded on 5/6/2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 2 children present and 2 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 2 children's records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Based on record review and interview, the provider has not obtained a subsequent tuberculosis (TB) screening every two years for each adult household member. Evidence: Household member #2 TB screening is dated 11/20/2017. The provider confirmed that the household member has not yet completed a subsequent TB screening.
Plan of Correction:
I will do my best for [them] to have it completed by Monday.
