Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 1:45pm-3:15pm. There were 7 children (22 points) in the direct care and supervision of the Provider and the Assistant Provider. A sample size of 4 children's records, 2 caregiver records, 2 household member records, evacuation drills, the outdoor space, and the daycare space were reviewed. The children were observed waking up from their designated rest period, having their diapers changed, hand washing, eating snack (veggie chips, oranges, bananas, and milk), building with blocks, and playing with toys. Based on a review of children's records, 3 out of 4 records were not up-to-date. Evidence: 1. Child #1's last annual update to review required emergency information was 1/10/2019. 2. Child #2's last annual update to review required emergency information was 1/23/2019. 3. Child #3's last annual update to review required emergency information was 12/12/2018.
Plan of Correction:
I will ask the parents to review and sign today.
