Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 12/20/2022 and concluded on 12/20/2022. There were 8 children present, ranging in ages from 11 months to 4 years, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Based on observation, outside equipment was not maintained in a safe and operable condition.
Evidence: 1. The wooden climbing structure on the playground had a split board.
Plan of Correction:
I will get my husband to get out there and fix that board so no children can get a splinter or get hurt.
