A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 4/10/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 83 children were present with 20 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: napping, reading books, building with blocks, playing games, and eating lunch which consisted of chicken nachos, corn, mixed fresh berries, and milk. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, and 9 children?s records and 5 staff records were reviewed. It was reported no medications were on site at the time of inspection.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
