Based on observation, an infant who could not hold their own bottle was not picked up and held for bottle feeding.
Evidence: Child 1, 6 months old, was observed drinking a bottle and blankets were placed underneath both the child's arms to prop up the child's arms to hold the bottle. Caregiver stated that the child cannot hold the bottle for the entire feeding therefore the child was placed in the crib with the blankets to help the child hold their bottle.
Plan of Correction:
We will no longer prop up bottles to help the children.
