Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 11/10/2020 and concluded on 11/10/2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were (6) children present and (2) staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (1) child?s record, the others had previously been reviewed and are complete. The provider showed proof that the central registry results were mailed on 9/1/2020, but have not been returned. One caregiver has not updated their TB screening. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility. The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on provider interview and a review of household records, the provider has not obtained a current TB screening every 2 years from the date of the last screening for each household member. Evidence: Household #1 does not have a current TB screening, the TB screening on file is dated 10/20 2017.
Plan of Correction:
She will get a TB screening.
