A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 between 9:50 am to 11:47 am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. During this inspection, the center's director and owner were present and assisted the licensing inspector throughout this inspection. The children were observed by the licensing inspector in various classroom settings and playground area. The census for today's inspection consisted of children with 4 staff present including the owner. During this inspection, the children in care were observed by the licensing inspector completing a variety of activities to include participating in circle time,engaged in outdoor play, transitioning outdoors, completing handwashing, and actively playing with peers and age appropriate equipment.The center's bathrooms, kitchen, designated classrooms, indoor areas, playground areas, and equipment were inspected by the licensing inspector. The required posting were reviewed by the inspector. The following information was reviewed: daily attendance, emergency supplies, evacuation and shelter-in-place drills, liability insurance policy, and allergy list. There were five children?s records and four staff's records reviewed during this inspection. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Medication is not being administered at this time. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
