Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A renewal inspection was initiated on August 19, 2021 and concluded on August 20, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were four children present, with one caregiver supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records, one caregiver record and one adult household member record were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on review and interview, provider did not ensure caregiver and adult household member have negative results of an updated TB test or screening at least every two years.
Evidence: Provider's most recent TB test was dated 4/5/2018 and adult household member's most recent TB test was dated 4/19/2018. Provider confirmed she does not have updated documentation of negative TB test or screening for either individual.
Plan of Correction:
Provider and household member will have results from their TB test by the end of next week.
