This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A renewal inspection was initiated on June 8, 2021 and concluded on June 9, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone at 10:45 a.m. to initiate the inspection. A virtual inspection was then conducted. There were 10 children, ages 10 months through 6 years old in care and two resident children present for a total of 26 points under the care and supervision of two staff. Children were observed during transition from outdoor play, hand washing and playing at various centers in the daycare area. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed three children?s records, two staff records and two household member record submitted by the facility and by video conferencing to ensure documentation was complete.
