Technical Assistance:
Discussion of the documentation of the instructions and conversation with the Parents of Child #1 who stated that they require to be contacted versus authorizing the Provider to seek emergency medical treatment for their child. The Licensing Inspector (LI) encouraged the Provider to note this documentation and place it within the file of Child #1.

Provider reported that the last chimney/fireplace inspection for the home was conducted on 09/09/2020. The chimney/fireplace inspection for this year is scheduled to be conducted on 09/08/2021.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.

A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 08/31/2021. The Provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 5 children present, ranging from 6 months to 3 years in age (16 points), with 2 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication (no medication on site); special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records, 1 household member record, and 2 staff records were reviewed.

The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
