Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 8/3/2020 and concluded on 8/4/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 6 children present and 2 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two children's records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Based on review of records and interviews the center did not have an annual environmental health inspection. Evidence: 1. The last documented health inspection was conducted 8/6/18
Plan of Correction:
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the provider is unable to have an inspection conducted. The provider has requested an inspection and once requirements are lifted an inspection will be conducted.
