Technical Assistance:
Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, and training hours. Due to the recent move, the Provider's training hours were still packed away. These hours shall be reviewed at the next Unannounced Monitoring Inspection. At that time, a total of 16 hours will need to have been completed.
Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 8:30 am through 11 am. Today, I met with the Provider on site at the Family Day Home (FDH) located in Fairfax, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 3 children observed (7 points) with 1 caregiver. A total of 5 children?s files, 1 staff file, and 4 household member?s files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: drop off, music, song, toy play, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to charles.perkins@dss.virginia.gov. Thank you.
