Comments:
An unannounced inspection was conducted on July 27, 2023 in response to a complaint regarding capacity. Interviews with caregivers were completed and documentation was reviewed. The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. A violation was found in an area that were not a part of the original complaint.

Based on review of attendance records, the provider failed to maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs. Evidence: On 7/27/2023, the licensing inspector reviewed attendance records. The provider did not note the following times on the attendance record: On 4/27/2023, the afternoon arrival time of one child and the departure time for one child. On 4/28/2023, afternoon arrival time of four children and the departure time for one child. On 5/2/2023, the arrival time of one child and the departure time of two children. On 5/12/2023, the departure time of one child. On 6/1/2023, the arrival time of one child and the departure time of eight children.
Plan of Correction:
Caregivers will make a better effort to arrival and departure times.
