A monitoring inspection was completed on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. During the inspection, there were 43 children and 11 staff were present supervising children in care. The children were observed in the classrooms engaged in activity, transitioning from indoor play area, and playing with age appropriate equipment and napping in the nursery. The sample size was 4 staff records. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation, staff record and interview, the center did not ensure each person in a supervisory position has bee certified by a practicing physician or physician assistant.
Evidence: 1. During observation on March 7, 2023, Staff#1 (date of hire: 03/06/23) was one of three staff observed in the Twos classroom supervising children in care. 2. In Staff#1's record (date of hire: 03/06/23), there was no documentation found for review. 3. Interview with staff confirmed the health report documentation was not available for review during the inspection.
