A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on December 12, 2019 between the hours of 10:42 a.m. through 2:40 p.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Fifty-six children were enrolled and thirty-two children were in the care of six staff members, on this date. Six children?s records and five staff records were reviewed. Medication and documentation were reviewed for three children. Diapering procedures, hand washing, bathroom procedures, free play, circle time, reading, singing, outdoor walk, evacuation drills, lunch, daily schedule, transitions, and dismissal procedures were observed during this visit. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
