Thank you for your assistance during the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 2:25 PM to 5:30 PM. Today, there were thirty-five children, ages five through eleven years, with three staff. I viewed program activities, equipment, daily routines, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, medication, snack, agency reports, posted information, emergency supplies and drill records, injury reports, five staff records, staff qualifications, staff training, five records for children, indoor and outdoor areas. The children enjoyed choices for active play in the gym and outside. Due to a planned event set-up in the cafeteria, all indoor activities were in the gym. Homework assistance has been regularly available. Today, the children were able to watch a movie or do an alternate activity. The staff were observed providing attentive supervision and attended to individual needs for care and guidance.
