Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on October 2, 2023 between the hours of 9:15am and 11:15am. There was a total of 85 children with 16 staff members supervising. Children were observed during the arrival to classrooms, story time, playing with age-appropriate toys and materials, engaged in music activities, small group activities and outdoor play time. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, children and staff records, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on observation, it was determined the nonprescription drug was kept beyond the expiration date of the product. Evidence: 1. Zyrtec liquid nonprescription medication expired in 08/2023.
Plan of Correction:
I have notified the parent to pick up the Zyrtec today.
