Technical Assistance:
The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted on-site. Five children were present with two caregivers and within ratios for supervision. Observed children in free play, hand washing and lunch time. Lunch was mac and cheese, apples and milk. Reviewed a sample of records, emergency preparation, caregiver training, physical space and Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, 1 of 2 children's records was incomplete. Evidence: Child #5 was missing documentation of an annual update (last reviewed 12/2020)
